“Flamin Hot” is a new movie that was released in June 2023, tells the story of a man named “Richard Montanez” ex-con and former gang member who got his first real job at Frito Lay. Richard Montanez first real job was at Frito lay as a janitor he was excited about having his first official job. He worked extremely hard compared to the employes because he was excited and determined he would bug one of the machine technicians “Clarence” constantly on a daily basis about the machines that he would operate Montanez said he always had a thing for machines and wanted to learn more about them, aft first “Clarence” didn’t really like Montanez but he slowly realized that he was really determined and want to learn so he gave him a chance and slowly taught everything he knew. A couple of years later Frito lay was making any sales or money and soon to shut down if they didn’t do anything about it,

 Montanez who really wanted a chance to be better and wanted to prove he was more than just a janitor wanted to find a way to save his job and everybody else’s job. One day while Montanez was out with his family at the park eating a “Elote con chile” mexican street corn he realized that his “raza” hispanic community really enjoyed adding hot sauce to everything they eat and eating spicy things and it finally hit him Montanez had the idea to create his very own chili powder that he could add to the Cheetos. Montanez and his family bought they single pepper they could get and made their own chili powder they went through trial and error trying to get it perfect, they finally did it and Montanez had the idea that if they add that to the Cheetos and produce it they’re sales would increase a lot and save the company.

he next morning at work Montanez walked into a big ol’ meeting where a lot of people were getting laid off and losing their job but Montanez spoke up and told them about his idea and they decided to add his chili powder to the Cheetos and produce it the owner of Frito Lay “Roger Enrico” tried his product and thought it was amazing. At the first they couldn’t sell any because they didn’t have any way to promote it and get it out to the people but Montanez and the employees came up with the idea to load up all the product that didn’t sell and give out to his community and the idea worked “Roger Enrico later called Montanez and told him they were going to need another 5 million cases of his product and the product was a success and Montanez saved Frito lay. After all this Montanez still continued to work at the very bottom as a janitor even after he saved the company the head manager told him that he wanted him to go clean on of the offices and when he went to the office and Mr. Roger Enrico surprised him with his very own office and granted him the spot of “Director of Multicultural Marketing” and thats how Richard Enrico saved Frito Lay. Overall this is a really nice entertaining movie with chicano culture I give this movie a 10/10 the plot, the message it was really good.
