Jacob Waterman

Jacob Waterman, Organizational supervisor

Jacob Waterman is a highly accomplished and dedicated educator, serving as a Journalism, Debate, and ELA Coach at Purdue Polytechnic High School. With years of experience in teaching and coaching, Jacob has made a significant impact on the students at PPHS and has contributed to the school's success in a number of ways.

As a coach, Jacob is responsible for providing guidance, support, and mentorship to students in the areas of journalism, debate, and ELA. He is deeply committed to helping his students develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence, and has a proven track record of success in doing so.

One of Jacob's most notable accomplishments at PPHS was founding the school's newspaper program within his first year of joining the school. This program has since become a cornerstone of the school's media publication, for which Jacob now serves as the organizational supervisor. His contributions to the program have been instrumental in helping students develop their writing and journalism skills, and have helped to establish PPHS as a leader in media education.

Education: Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Wabash College.

Jacob has a wide range of skills and expertise in the areas of journalism, debate, and ELA. He is an excellent communicator and collaborator and is able to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. He is also highly organized and detail-oriented and is able to manage complex projects and deadlines with ease. Above all, he is deeply committed to the success of his students and is passionate about helping them achieve their full potential.
